Delivery and return policy

This policy applies to all our food products – desserts, cakes and pies, bread, buns, and various pastries – purchased via www.sinnertaste.com. Products are delivered by trusted couriers ensuring proper temperature control. For order/change/return inquiries, contact: uzsakymai@sinnertaste.lt.

1. Delivery (DPD Fresh)

All food products are delivered exclusively via DPD Fresh – under controlled temperature (cold chain) conditions.

2. Delivery Times

  • Orders placed after Thursday 14:00 or on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.

  • Upon receiving your order, check the packaging and temperature immediately. If there’s a discrepancy, do not accept it.
  • Delivery may take longer during holidays or peak periods.
  • Weekend and holiday orders are processed on the next working day.
  • Minimum order amount – €19 (after discounts, excluding delivery fee).
  • Please ensure correct delivery details – incorrect postal codes or addresses can delay delivery.

3. Packaging, Temperature Control & Acceptance

  • Packaging: Products are packed in standard packaging and transported at no higher than +6°C.
  • Temperature: All items are maintained below +6°C, even when not mandatory, to ensure freshness.
  • Acceptance: Upon delivery, open and inspect immediately. Record discrepancies (photo/video) and report within 24h to uzsakymai@sinnertaste.lt.
  • Absence: If delivery is refused or the recipient is unavailable twice (not due to our or courier’s fault), the goods will not be redelivered.

4. Delivery Restrictions & Responsibilities

  • Territory: We deliver across Lithuania (except areas not served by DPD Fresh) – for confirmation, contact uzsakymai@sinnertaste.lt.
  • Fragile products: Cakes and delicate desserts are shipped on firm bases; minor decorative imperfections are not considered defects if safe for consumption.
  • International delivery: Not available (Lithuania only).

5. Return Conditions (Food Products)

Perishable goods or those with a short shelf life can only be returned if an error occurred due to the manufacturer (e.g., wrong or defective product). In such cases, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at uzsakymai@sinnertaste.lt including photos/videos and your order number.

6. Return Process

  1. Notification: Email uzsakymai@sinnertaste.lt (order number, item, quantity, reason, photos/videos).
  2. Instructions: We’ll provide the return address and, if applicable, a return label.
  3. Packing: Ensure safe packaging; for chilled goods, use cold packs if required.
  4. Shipment/Collection: Arranged individually (via DPD or local drop-off, if possible).
  5. Inspection: Once received, we’ll assess within 2–5 business days and provide a resolution.

7. Refunds & Replacements

  • Refunds: Issued within 14 calendar days from the return approval, but not earlier than receipt of goods or proof of shipment.
  • Payment method: Refunds are processed via the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  • Delivery costs: Only standard delivery fees are refunded (express/premium excluded).
  • Replacement: Possible if identical or similar items are available and comply with safety and shelf-life requirements.

8. Exceptions (Non-returnable Items)

  • Perishable or short-shelf-life food products (e.g., desserts, cream cakes, fresh bread).
  • Opened packages that no longer meet hygiene standards for resale.
  • Custom-made or personalized items (e.g., cakes with custom decoration or inscription).
